GMGN figures checked 14 September 2026
GMGN vs Axiom
Both are memecoin trading terminals, and the comparison people actually need is not "which is better" but "which one fits the chain you trade and the custody you accept". Below is what we can verify about GMGN, and exactly what to check on Axiom's own properties before you decide.

GMGN compared with Axiom on chains, custody and costs
What we can verify, and what we will not invent
Everything on this site about GMGN comes from GMGN's own documentation or independent fee data, with a date attached. We do not publish Axiom's fee schedule second-hand, because rates change and a stale number costs you real money. Where Axiom is concerned, this page tells you which questions to ask and where the answers live.
Chain coverage: the clearest difference
GMGN's reach is wide. We track 11 chains with a page each, and DefiLlama records GMGN fee revenue on ten of them. In the 30 days to 13 September 2026 the split was concentrated:
| Chain | GMGN fees, 30 days | Share of GMGN |
|---|---|---|
| Robinhood Chain | $27.68M | 54.8% |
| BNB Smart Chain | $15.01M | 29.7% |
| Solana | $5.02M | 9.9% |
Axiom built its reputation on Solana. If Solana is where you trade, breadth matters less than execution; if you follow memecoin cycles as they rotate between chains, a terminal that already covers the next chain saves you setting up again. Our chain-by-chain guide shows where GMGN's volume actually sits.
Custody: read this before you fund either one
GMGN's documentation is explicit: wallets it generates cannot export private keys, on any chain, and wallets imported from outside cannot be exported afterwards either. Withdrawals need Google Authenticator and a whitelisted address, with a 3-hour hold after you set or change it. That is a real trade-off for speed and automation, explained in full in our GMGN safety guide. Before funding any alternative, find the equivalent statement in its own docs. If you cannot find one, treat that as the answer.
Costs: compare like for like
GMGN charges 1% per trade and nothing else of its own; gas, priority fees and tips go to the network, and launchpads may charge their own fee. When comparing, put the platform fee, the default priority settings and any premium tier side by side, then run your monthly volume through both. Our fee breakdown with a calculator does the GMGN half for you.
Tooling: where each style shows
- Discovery data. GMGN's token pages lead with developer holdings, insider ratio, first-70-buyer behaviour and wallet labels.
- Automation. Copy trading, SnipeX, migrated snipe and trailing exits, documented as Solana-first; see the feature map.
- Surfaces. Web terminal, Telegram bots per chain, and mobile apps sharing one account.
Which should you pick?
Pick by chain and custody first, interface second. If you trade Robinhood Chain, BSC or several chains in a month, GMGN's coverage is the practical answer, and you can start from the GMGN AI overview or go straight to setup. If you are Solana-only and care most about execution feel, trial both with small size before committing funds. Whatever you pick, verify addresses against the official links list first.
Comparison questions
Is GMGN or Axiom better?
They optimise for different things. GMGN spreads across 11 chains we track and leans on discovery data; Axiom concentrates on Solana with a trader-focused interface. Chain coverage is the clearest split.
Does GMGN charge more than Axiom?
GMGN documents a flat 1% handling fee per trade. Axiom publishes its own fee terms on its site; check them there rather than trusting a third-party number, including ours.
Which one holds my keys?
GMGN states private keys cannot be exported on any chain, so wallets created there stay there. Confirm the custody model of any alternative on its own documentation before funding it.
Can I use both?
Yes. Many traders keep one terminal per chain focus and move funds rather than committing to a single tool.
