What is GMGN AI?

GMGN AI is a trading terminal built for memecoins, the fast, thinly traded tokens that launch every minute on chains like Solana, BSC and Robinhood Chain. The name is short for "Good Morning, Good Night", a nod to a market that never closes. You will see it written several ways: GMGN, GMGN.AI, GMGN.ai and GMGN AI all mean the same product, and its only official web address is gmgn.ai.

What sets GMGN apart from a plain swap interface is data. Every token page shows who holds it, how much the developer kept, whether insiders or bundled wallets bought early, and whether liquidity is burnt. Wallets are tagged, so you can see when an address GMGN labels "Smart Money" or a verified KOL buys. On top of that sit automation tools: limit orders, take-profit and stop-loss, copy trading and Twitter-triggered sniping.

It is also big. DefiLlama tracks about $315 million in all-time GMGN fees, and $50.5 million in the 30 days to 13 September 2026. At a 1% fee, that month alone represents around $5 billion of trades placed through GMGN.

Where do you actually trade on GMGN?

GMGN runs in four places, and they share the same account once you log in with Telegram:

Scammers copy all four. Before you connect anything, compare handles and URLs against our verified list of GMGN websites, bots and apps.

Which chains does GMGN support?

We track 11 chains on GMGN, each with a dedicated page covering its bots, deposit network, gas token and fee data. Right now the money is concentrated: in the 30 days to 13 September 2026, Robinhood Chain and BSC together produced about 85% of GMGN's fees.

The chain you pick changes more than gas. Copy trading, SnipeX and Migrated Snipe are documented for Solana only, while newer chains like HyperEVM, X Layer and Monad are traded through the web terminal and app because no Telegram bot is published for them. The full breakdown of tools per chain is in our GMGN trading guide.

What can you do on GMGN?

Most people come to GMGN for one of four jobs, and the terminal has a tool for each:

Each tool, its limits and the chains it works on are covered in GMGN features explained tool by tool.

How much does GMGN charge per trade?

GMGN's own documentation is short on this point: it charges a 1% handling fee on each transaction and nothing else. On a 1 SOL buy, the GMGN fee is 0.01 SOL. What trips people up are the costs that are not GMGN's: network gas, the priority and tip fees you set to get included faster, and launchpad fees such as Pump.fun's own 1%. On Solana, a priority fee set too high can cost more than the fee itself on a small trade.

Our GMGN fee breakdown has a calculator and GMGN's recommended settings, so you can see the full cost of a trade before you place it.

How do you start trading on GMGN in 3 steps?

  1. Open gmgn.ai through a referral link and log in with Telegram. GMGN recommends the Telegram wallet login because it unlocks anti-MEV and the automation tools; a plain browser wallet does not. Our link opens the official site with referral code UPf048WP already attached.
  2. Fund the wallet GMGN creates, on the right network. You get a Solana address, one EVM address shared by Ethereum, Base and BSC, and a Tron address. Send SOL on Solana, BNB on BSC, ETH on Base. A deposit on the wrong network cannot be recovered.
  3. Set slippage and priority, then place a small first trade. Use auto slippage for manual trades and add a take-profit and stop-loss before you walk away.

Screens, settings and the mistakes that cause failed transactions are in how to use GMGN, step by step.

Is GMGN safe?

GMGN is a large, long-running platform, but it is not a self-custody wallet in the way most people assume. Wallets created through the Telegram login are held by GMGN, and GMGN's docs state that private keys cannot be exported on any chain. Withdrawals require Google Authenticator and go to a whitelist of addresses, with a 3-hour hold after you set or change the whitelist.

The biggest risks are not GMGN itself. They are fake bots with a capital I disguised as a lowercase l, scammers posing as admins in DMs, and tokens that rug. Read whether GMGN is safe before you deposit more than you can afford to lose.

GMGN AI, GMGN bot, GMGN app: what people actually mean

Searches split across a lot of names. "GMGN bot" almost always means the Telegram trading bots. "GMGN app" means the mobile apps, which the App Store lists as GMGN - Meme Track. "GMGN terminal" and "GMGN AI" mean the website. "GMGN trading" covers all of them. They are one product with one account. If a site, bot or app uses the GMGN name but does not appear in GMGN's own documentation, treat it as unofficial, including this one: we are an independent guide, not GMGN.
